Dr e.s sokweni

Woke up in the am’s with excruciating pain on my ankle and could barely use it so I rushed to the hospital being 1Military hospital as I am a member of the SANDF. A doctor by the name of Dr E.S Sokweni attended to me but kept insinuating that it’s not an emergency and asked why I didn’t wait to see a doctor at 09:00 as according to her, I should’ve slept through the pain because apparently an emergency is when she sees blood. Wow. So since I wasn’t bleeding it’s not seen as an emergency. Almost implying that I shouldn’t have came to the hospital. She then proceeded to intimidate me by mentioning ranks as she’s a higher rank. This was a very appalling experience from the above mentioned Doctor to a patient who was in dire need of help without being intimidated, belittled, or made to beg for medical care while in excruciating distress.
