Dissapointed in the product - Wont buy this brand again

I bought a new recently launched 25 liter air fryer on an online deal and received the unit as per the deal.

Unfortunately after less than 2 months of infrequent use the unit first started making a weird sound when warming up, and then all of a sudden sparks and a smoke smell came from the unit. I returned it via the online deal shop and it was repaired. Online shop said a electronic board was faulty and needed repair/replacement.

(Do note the fact that this unit only carries a 6 month "imp**** warranty" as per the email received from Milex)

Unfortunately I can not recommend buying their products based on this experience of the reliability of the unit

Furthermore my online review on their website was either removed or never published.

Online resellers of their products have the odd negative review so no negative reviews seem very unlikely.

Pros - They repaired the faulty unit within acceptable margins Cons - It broke within a short time of receiving it and has a very short warranty. Buttons are flimsy. Not as effective as our older smaller unit which we decided to start using again. (Also the missing review.....)
