Booking.com and Mile Crunchers overbooked and refused my refund

I had booked accomodation and made arrangements for late arrivals on the 01/01/2022. My family had already been on the road for over 12 hours upon getting closer to the premises, I called and was advised by the shift manager that unfortunately BOOKING.COM has once again overbooked their premises and that there was no space. My family had to continue my journey. After a lot of too and fro between the company Mile Crunchers Backpackers & Hostelling via Booking.com i was finally sent an email Mile Crunchers Backpackers & Hostelling that will not be refunding me as i did not meet up to the refund policy and cancelled too late.... I NEVER CANCELLED! So between BOOKING.COM and MILE CRUNCHERS someone has ******** my money. I need my money back!
