SETTLED ACCOUNT HANDED OVER AFTER 15 YEARS

After 15 years I get a call from MBD LC collecting on an account I settled more than 15 years ago. According to the lady from MBD it was my responsibility to close the account, how? I told the casher that I was closing the account, paid and left so after 15 years I must hear that I was handed over to them for R361.40 and with their fees I now owe over R1000. According to MBD LC, Miladys handed the matter over to them Jan/2014. Now I know that debt prescribes after 3 years of no acknowledgement of the debt or contact from the store claiming you owe them. I do not have a Miladys account and now I MBD LC is harassing me because Miladys did not do the right thing!!!<br> <br> I DO NOT HAVE A MILADYS ACCOUNT!!!!!
