Mistreatment at Miladys Cresta

"On March 3, 2024, my family and I experienced mistreatment at Miladys Cresta. After completing our shopping, we proceeded to the checkout counter to pay for our purchases. While there, my 3-year-old son picked up a perfume bottle from a lower shelf near the counter and began playing with it. The staff at the counter requested that we return the bottle.

As my wife tried to retrieve the perfume bottle from our son and place it back on the shelf, one of the shop’s employees intervened. She forcibly took the bottle from my child, lifted him, and placed him in the steel shopping trolley. My son was upset by this stranger’s actions, and my wife and I were shocked and speechless. We promptly left the shop without responding back to the lady.

As parents, we do take certain ways of negotiating with our child to convince him of his actions & we felt that the lady took it into her control and tried to show us how to deal with the child. While we acknowledge that our child’s behavior was inappropriate, it does not justify the shop employee’s actions. Instead of treating us in this manner, we suggest placing a sign at the entrance indicating that shoppers with children are not allowed. This would be a more respectful approach." 🛒👶
