Miladys Norkem Corner Kempton Park refuses to refund for returned items

I bought two items on Friday 13 May 22 from Miladys Norkem Corner Kempton Park. I don't use fitting rooms so I wasn't sure if the items would fit and they didn't. I returned to the store just after 9 am on Monday 16 May 22 to return the items. The items are still tagged and the slip was provided. I was told that they cannot refund me because the purchase was made with a debit card and they don't have R 800 in their float to reimburse me...on a Monday morning after a weekend? They could only give me a voucher or I must go to another store for the refund! I asked them to just reimburse me on the card and they told me again that they are not allowed to do that with a debit card. They took my number saying that they would phone me when they have money. Now I must drive far to return these items. I will never buy from Miladys again because this is unacceptable!
