Innocent customer accused of theft

I am writing this on behalf of my mother who was publicly humiliated by being falsely accused of theft of a dress. An employee of Miladys named Kobie Whittaker followed to the store next door where she made a scene, not even handling the Matter privately, which attracted a lot of public attention, she searched my mother's bag which she found nothing, she had absolutely no reason to believe my mom was a *****, and I'm sure there's a procedure to be followed in that case. The sad thing about this is my mom and grandmother have been loyal customers of that store. She's utterly disappointed and humiliated and the onlookers as well as the employees of the Foschini store next door have said this happens frequently with this Kobbie Whittaker woman and she only does this to black women. I took this upon myself because Parys is a predominantly disadvantaged town with a lot of black women who are not educated with regards to their consumer rights, that is why she is continuously getting away with this. Your attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.
