Incredibly bad customer service to add to the bad quality goods sold at Miladys

The shoes at Miladys is very bad quality and Miladys knows this and doesn't care. My mother (a pensioner) bought a pair of open toed shoes for R399 there just before Christmas especially for Christmas day (bear in mind that this is a lot for a pensioner). After 2 hours of wearing the shoes, they had stretched out so badly that her feet were slipping through the open toe area of the shoes. Her toes now have sores on them from the shoes and the shoes are unwearable. R399 for a pair of shoes that lasted 2 hours! When my mother went to Miladys to replace the shoes, she was told that because she had worn the shoes, they would not refund them. I then contacted Miladys and told them that the way we found out that their shoes were defective was during the first 2 hours of wearing them. I was told I could lay a complaint at the branch but they would not accept the items back nor refund us because the shoes had been worn. So, basically what Miladys is saying is that they don't care that their products are not of a good quality and they do not care about the customers experience with their products. I cannot tell you all not to buy from Miladys, but I can warn you that buying from them may not be the best decision based on our experience.
