*********** and petty
Miladys failed to send me an account in April 2022, I called their call center to ascertain how much was due but was placed on hold and I eventually gave up. I paid the installment as per the previous month's account. Miladys phoned me and demanded the balance of the payment due in early May, I explained what had occurred and why I didn't know what amount to pay and undertook to bring the outstanding amount up to date on 31 May, together with my next installment. I have been a customer of Miladys and MRP for years and have a sterling repayment record. Miladys kept harassing me with messages and phonecalls and on 13 May I once again got messages saying that I hadn't kept my arrangement. I was livid, I had.clearly indicated that I would make payment on 31 May, not 13 May. I even said (in more than 1 phonecall) that I would pay on 31 May but that it would be EFT (as always) and that they must allow 1-2 days for the payment to clear. They eventually stopped harassing me, but started up again on 31 May harassing me some more about the payment. I told them that the payment had been made, but received another slew of messages and phonecalls. I assume they finally woke up to the fact that the money had been paid as undertaken because they stopped calling. The surprise came today, when I learned that despite my clear and unambiguous reason for short payment and the fact that I honored my undertaking EXACTLY, Miladys deemed it appropriate to list me with ITC for non-payment. I highly recommend that you buy your clothes elsewhere and I will be closing my account before month end. It is shocking that a company can be so unreasonable and destructive even when they contributed to the problem to start off with, then patently *****ed up when logging my undertaking. If you value your reputation and your sanity, shop somewhere else.
