Disgusting service
<p>I've never been so extremely disappointed in the service I received from Miladys Somerset West Mall. I've been a client for many many years during which my previous experiences at different stores was never as bad as my current situation. I purchased clothing on the 2nd June 2017 which was sent for alterations. At the time I've been told that it would take 2 to 3 days for the alterations. Its now 3+ weeks later and I am still waiting. I've made numerous calls to the store, spoke to just about everybody (including the manager) and got answers i e "will look for it at the back and will call back" - no return calls. After my call about a week ago threatening the manager that I would report their poor service to their Head Office, I was informed that they got the clothing back but that the lady who collected it forgot my parcel in her car! It was eventualy arranged that the clothes will be delivered the next day (last Thursday) to my home. Upon receipt of it the workmanship was extremely poor and unacceptable e g the waists of the pants had to be taken in at the back but it was merely stitched off at the sides with the extra material not even cut off. As the legs of pants I buy at Miladys are always way too long it had to be shortened....again inferior workmanship as the hems was'nt overlocked but merely machine stitched. When handing in clothes for alterations one would at least expect that the items would afterwards resemble what it looked like when purchased?! After another threatening call this morning saying that, should the clothes not be received at my home by 12pm today, Miladys must keep the clothes and credit my account forthwith. I've thereafter received a call from the manager asking what the problem is......really? Would'nt one expect that she must remember the matter and be informed of my situation? After I again explained the situation she said the clothes will be delivered to my home today at 12pm. Shocking, shocking service! I am now contemplating to close my account with Miladys.</p>
