DISAPPOINTING SERVICE - ACCUSED OF TRYING TO GET A REFUND WITH A WRONG TILL SLIP!!

I went to Miladys at Cresta mall on 21/03/2017 to return a pair of sandals that I had bought over a week ago. When i got there i handed over the slip and the shoes to the lady on the other side of the counter. She scanned the sandals and for a few seconds was busy on the computer processing the refund. (Unfortunately this lady didnt have a name tag or at least i didn’t see one , whereas with the other assistants i could...but i recall that she was light in complexion and had plaited hair)) .Not long after that a colleague of hers joined her at the till (Lerato Mokgethi), the refund process seemed to be taking long. But i waited without any issue.

Next thing I know, the light-skinned lady tells me that I have the incorrect slip and handed it over to me. I took the slip and read out to her that the slip reads "laser-cut thongs" and so does the sticker on the bottom of the sandals. Mind you she was not asking if perhaps i may have left the correct slip at home...she told me straight out that the slip i have is wrong. At this point Lerato asked her to get another pair and try scan it.

And what do you know........the refund was processed. this was clearly an issue with their system.Lerato apologised for the incovenience...however the lady who accused me of bringing along a wrong slip could not even be bothered to apologise and acknowledge that the problem was with their system, in fact she just kept quiet for the rest of the time that i was there.

When I checked my refund slip it says the refund was authorised by: POSEB. It would seem the assistants/employees use codes on receipts as Lerato Mokgethi’s code is : LEMOK.

So POSEB is probably the code for the rude lady

We are all capable of making mistakes, but its only decent of someone to apologise when they realise they have made a mistake especially when serving customers. for a store like Miladys this is very very disappointing. I hope they treat other customers better than this

I must say thank you though to Lerato for the decent and professional service she showed...much appreciated
