Defective item and extremely poor call centre response

I bought a dress at Miladys and the first time it was washed, fully according to instructions, it shrunk considerably by 9cm and was unwearable.

A return was refused because the item had been worn and washed.

I contacted the call centre who instructed me to email a Mr Price mail address. I did this, receiving an automated response.

In the meantime, Miladys was going ahead and advertising this inferior defective product all over their Facebook page. I rep**** on their post, they told me to return it. I posted further about my experience, and my last message went unanswered.

My email went unanswered too.

I phoned the call center back, and got an argumentative employee who was rude and insistent that my complaint was handled.

This kind of customer service is disgusting and I hope that someone can help me to report this to a higher level as the Miladys advertised head office telephone number just rings and rings.

To some people they may say its "just a dress" and think it's not worth the fuss, but my circumstances as a single mom of a disabled child are such that I hardly ever get to buy myself any new clothes.

All I want is what I was promised :Return defective goods for a refund.

Why are rude unhelpful and *********** people still employed in your organisation? I hope that you address this staff problem because in the long run you will lose business because of their attitude.
