To be avoided

I ordered boots and when they arrived they were way, way too small - fully 3½ cm shorter than my size. (I notice other reviews with similar problems in sizing.) I took pictures clearly showing this glaring discrepancy and the response was "I am sorry the product was not to your liking" - as if it was me being picky. I was offered a refund provided I return the boots to China at my cost - which would be about R360. No no no - I'd rather donate them to a passing stranger. They don't exactly look like great quality but I guess I'll never know - no chance of trying on those (for me) teeny tiny pixie boots. So be warned - this company doesn't mind sending the wrong item, blaming you and leaving you to pay out of pocket for their error. Also it claims in its title to be South African. It's not. The only thing I can say for them is that, for the many emails I've sent through this process, their agent Dada responds promptly and tries to be helpful. Otherwise, an operation be avoided.
