Money paid and no service received

We engaged the services of Vincent Littler ( a recommended alarm / security person) in October 2014, he then made some repairs to our alarm. We then asked him to quote on further intallations, and we received the quote.<br> Once we paid the full deposit and asked Vincent to go ahead we did not hear from him again.<br> We have tried to contact him daiily via email/ telephone etc etc with no response, he has simply vanished with our money.<br> I see he is advertising again on Gumtree so clearly doing business again but still has not been in touch with us.
