Paying for Authomechanic insult

I took my freelander 2 landrover 2007 model to the above mentioned mechanic situated at 24A Roger de Clark place , Mkondeni In pietermarrisburg after I Google and heard they do excellent job, on 3rd of April, 2018, for my rear shocks to be replaced. I supp**** the shocks and mountings I purchased from landrover spare supplier (Acrotek ) in Benoni , JHB. After i paid for the installation service he rendered, on my way home, I still heard a funny noice from left rear shock, I took it back the following day to complain, I was told the noice was as a result of the faulty front shocks which I have not attended to. The answer was not convincing to me. On 7th of April I decided to visit Hi Q service center at Northdale for them to investigate if the new mountings I bought was installed at the rear left shock, when the shock absorber was dismantled, the old dusty shock was found, which means they only installed one out of the 2 mountings I supp****, they kept 1 and charged me for 2. I was so disappointed. I took several pictures and on Monday the 11th of April, 2018. i went to the same mechanic workshop to express my disappointment to the owner(Mike). He was not ready to listen to me after showing him series of pictures of old dusty mounting that was never changed and I paid for. He became defensive , he started shouting at me to leave his yard and assaulting me. I left his workshop hoping to be helped by police in Alexander police station. They told me it was a civil case and adviced me to go to small claim court. When I narrated my story at small claims court in pietermarrisburg I realised it will take so long for justice to be done and moreover I only came to pietermarrisburg for a short period, to pursue the case might cost me more. I retreated. It was a nasty experience.
