Unacceptable food. Poor reflection of brand.

<p>Mount Pleasant Mikes Kitchen</p> <p>We have supported this establishment for years now and even over the past year when everything started deteriorating we made an effort to pop in and see if anything had improved. Shocking and completely unacceptable are the closest words to describe our experience. I feel most sad for the friendly waiters who are sent to the tables with the poor quality food. </p> <p>Our most recent experience was this afternoon. Popped in for cuppaccinos and something sweet. What a waste of R200. Cappaccinos tasted like burnt coffee with no froth. Malva pudding was dry, hard and stale. Custard was full of lumps and cold. Belinda dessert (used to be my favourite until today) PEANUTS as a replacement?????? Barely any "caramel" a couple dry stale "brownies" NO cherry. Needless to say we took one bite,paid and left. </p> <p>Do you think you're fooling anyone with your over priced below average food? Is it acceptable to bring something to the table you're not proud of and still expect full price?</p> <p>I think not. Rather close until you've sorted out whatever is going on behind the scenes. </p> <p>This is unfortunately not our first bad experience since new ownership and I would suggest you hastily look into serious improvements. </p> <p>Such a pity for the loyal staff employed :(</p>
