Terrible service and Bland food.

I have been to Mikes kitchen for breakfast before on a weekday. Breakfast was great and service was exceptional. I decided to trust them for my valentines dinner.. Worst mistake. Food took over 2 hours to arrive. When it did arrive it was just one meal instead of two. As there were some confusion. There was no cutlery provided. I requested for a glass of water only to have received it some 45 minutes later. Speaking to the manager of the branch didn't rectify the situation as he didn't seem as inclined to improve the situation in any way possible. The steak ordered was over done, bland and unflavorful. The chips that accompanied them was soggy and presentation wasn't their key factor. Take note. This is valentines day. Fair enough if this was just one client that is unsatisfied. Yet to my dismay there were many customers furious at the awfully slow service since food received was cold. After this incident I am sure that I will not be visiting Mikes kitchen at Umhlanga in the future due to the pathetic service and food. Save yourself the trip and stay at home instead.
