Mike’s Kitchen, Bryanston - never again

Visited Mike’s Kitchen, Bryanston, last night. Our waiter was pleasant. Otherwise, everything about it was dreadful. The service was slow, the food virtually inedible (ribs like a rack of bone and gristle, covered by a thick sauce - one example). They have an outdoor smoking area….covered by a tarpaulin and connected to the indoor area, so the smoke is channelled inside. The only thing they didn’t manage to ruin were the drinks….because they arrived in sealed bottles! R1,650 for 4 people and the worst restaurant visit i can remember. What a disappointment from a brand that has been so revered in SA for 50+ years.
