General Pricing

I am very disgusted with the way Mike's Kitchen is going at the moment.

Mike's have become the most expensive family restaurant in my immediate area.

The pricing on the menu's are not made to fit the low to middle income bracket and has changed to a gourmet restaurant instead of sticking to the original family restaurant values.

The pricing has increased to such a point where myself & my family have to search for alternative venues for our family night.

I am a repetitive patron and very disgusted regarding the way things area going.

This is only local to certain branches as my friends & family told me that other branches are not charging the same prices.

The new menu is not relevant to a family restaurant but only to a upper class gourmet restaurant. since when is a carpaccio a family dish. and why do i have to pay more than R30 for a glass of house wine??

I am not happy with this as this is staring to become a joke for the rest of our \normal"people.

at this stage i will rather go to Maxxis than a Mike's Kitchen."""

Hello ajmoutonjnr,

The Mike's Kitchen Brand is currently growing across South Africa and our menu prices are extremely comparable to equivalent Brands in the Pretoria Region. We cater for ALL South Africa's, from all walks of life, not only in taste preference but also in pricing from our Samp dish at R24-90, to traditional Paptert at R29.90, to loaded potatoes at R59.90 and SQ items such as Prawns and Lamb Shank . Mike's Kitchen has always offered a wide range of products to satisfy the South African diners, from the Cape Water Front to the Northern Boarders. Our Wines are bottled individually for us by Van Lovren in the Cape. Our Mayville store in Pretoria offers In House specials that include some \Old Favorites\" at R89.90

Best regards,
