Eisbein tasteless

On Saturday 18/07/15 myself and my husband went to Mikes Kitchen. On arrival the restaurant was not busy at all. We ordered our food my husband ordered Eisbein and I ordered Ribs. We waited a very long time for the food. When the food arrived we noticed that my husbands Eisbein was very crispy he tried eating it but the crackling was so crispy he was unable to cut it. He had to break it off. Our waiter Sharon came and asked us if everything was ok my husband then showed her the Eisbein. She went and called the manager - she offered us a drink on the house. My husband said no as we already had drinks. She then said she will get him another Eisbein he again said no because if they took it back I would be eating alone and when his Eisbein came he would be eating alone. This was not the idea as we wanted to have supper together. Why did the manager not make sure that food leaving the kitchen was up to standards. We had to pay full price for the food we did not enjoy at all. Thank you Sharon for doing your best - you are a great waiter
