No Service book after 8 months waiting

I bought a 2009 Honda CRV from Mike Pendock Motors in April 2017. The salesman said it has full service history, i trusted him. After sighning contract and receiving the car, i realised the service book is missing. When i asked the salesman where it was, he said the service book has to be somewhere and that he will contact me when they find it. I'm still waiting..... I know that a vehicle loses a lot af value without service reckords and that means that i paid too much for this car. What can i do?
