Cape Town Law firm epic fail
Our company engaged the firm, Migration Lawyers, to facilitate a visa for a VIP and their family. It was very close to disaster, but we managed to get it done. The lawyer June Luna did not return calls or mails, seemed unable to answer questions and said of our client's nationality: \They are full of sh*t\".<br> <br> When it came to renewing the visa everything fell apart. June Luna would not return mail or calls for a week at a time and we were approaching the renewal cut off date. Several times we asked her boss, Craig Smith, to intervene, but he could not manage to light a fire under her. They both missed agreed upon application dates and conference calls until the family's visa expired.<br> <br> During this time Migration Lawyers INCREASED their quote with Mr Smith explaining Miss Luna had quoted us incorrectly. They seemed unconcerned by the cut off date saying they could sort it out (they could not) and that legally we needed to pay upfront (a lie).<br> <br> The visas expired, and the family were deemed \"undesirable\". Our VIP client had to leave the country and is barred for 1 year.<br> <br> We have laid complaints about Migration Lawyers with the Cape Law Society.<br> <br> Stay away from Migration Lawyers!"
