Migrate Worldwide is a joke!

In December I started the process of moving to New Zealand and Migrate Worldwide was the agency of choice for my boyfriend and I. Since December I,

1. I have been waiting for a week for simple amendments to be made to my CV which has not been done.

2. I have been made aware that if I were to undergo a s**** assessment that I would not qualify to receive a visa for being a hairdresser as I have not worked in the industry for 12 months in the last 36 months. I have been told that is the only s**** I should apply with and my first CV was solely designed to make me out to be a hairdresser. That is shocking on your CV services part.

3. I have done more work applying for jobs than your recruitment department, who I contacted a few weeks ago to change the job search and broaden the net to other work. I have received no correspondence from them since.

4. I am still waiting to speak to an IAA agent who is meant to advice me on how to proceed. I leave for New Zealand in a week and I have not heard anything from the agency. Everytime I make a query I am told that we are waiting for the IAA agent to set up a time to speak with me.

5. I was under the impression that Migrate Worldwide is meant to help place me in a job, I was sold on the idea that you would help place me and find me employment so that I could successfully migrate. None of that has been done.

6. I was also informed that they are not a licensed immigration agency by another agency and that there are no licensed agents who can handle my case. This seems to make sense as I have not been in contact with one, even after saying that I was soon to leave.

A week ago I sent a complaint to Migrate Worldwide and requested a refund for the R12 000 that was paid as I feel I have doen more for myself in the last 6 months than the agency has.

Today I gave 24 hours for the matter to be resolved. Do not fall into the trap that this company offers. All that glitters is not gold and they have proved to be a thorn in my side since day one. They make empty promises and never follow up, you have to chase them down for answers.
