Mighty Plumbing & Construction - Mike Richa - Very bad attitude and poor service

I called this company to come and fix the taps in my home which were leaking. I booked them for Monday 9 October 10am. I contacted Mike Richa (the owner) to confirm his appointment with me but he didn't respond. His guy pitches up at my house the next day 4pm without forewarning and I turn him away. He returns Wed 11 October and he fixes 3 taps and 1 showerhead. I get home from work I find that 2 taps are still leaking. I then get an invoice from Mighty Plumbing and Construction for R1300 when they quoted me R550. When I challenged this Mike tells me that he was too busy with month-end to tell me the price will be different. I don't know what company does month end in the middle of the month! Then he threatens me will blacklisting if I don't pay. First - poor service, they don't fix things properly Second - very unprofessional to threaten new clients with blacklisting when you could have resolved this matter very quickly by providing a breakdown of the service Third - the mere fact that you don't want to provide the breakdown of services confirms that you have something to hide. Fourth - I did not say I wasn't going to pay, I am a respectful citizen I pay for services rendered. I wanted to see what I was paying for but Mike immediately got defensive and assumed I didn't want to pay.

No interest in providing the customer with a good service so that they 1) either come back again or 2) recommend other people
