The Wheelchair access to the Nuclear section at MIdvaal Private Hospital is extremely dangerous. To access this facility, you have to go outside the hospital and push the wheelchair on the roadway. At the nuclear facility, there is a very ****y and bent metal ramp to get on the pavement. You then have to traverse a sloped pavement to get to the doors of the facility, which is about 4 car spaces far. On the sloped pavement, there are quite a few dangerous protrusions and the person in the wheelchair feels extremely anxious due to the slope and the feeling of falling off the pavement. The audacity to charge tens of thousands of rands (it if a few thousand rands if booked into the hospital) and to have such an atrocious & dangerous entrance is shocking. Up to date, our experience as a family has been mostly positive & friendly & helpful from the other sections of the hospital.
