Poor basic service

It seems when you place an elderly person in the care of this hospital they don't "care" how the elderly person is being treated. My mother is currently in medical ward 6 of Midvaal Private Hospital. On a couple of occations when I visited my mother I will find the emergency button well out of my mother's reach or tied to the top side of the bed, so if there is an emergency how would my mother be able reach the button? My mother also informed me just today that last night they placed her food down for her and said they will come and assist her to eat but an hour later not even one sister came to assist her with eating, so the food was already cold and at the time whem someone decided to go to my mother's bed my mother just said they must take the food away since it was already cold. No guys this is not how it works. Elderly people SHOULD be treated with respect and dignity. My mother informed me this morning that they handle her very roughly when being picked up to be moved around. Sorry Midvaal Private Hospital this is not on. I will defenitely take this matter further.
