Almost died at Midvaal.

I was admitted to Midvaal Private Hospital(MPH) for the removal of gall stones and gall bladder. This was successfully removed.
During my three day stay, my right arm became fully thrombothised from an IV tht was incorrectly attached from Day1. I learnt this afterwards.
I spent three days in MPH during which I received various liquids and medication through this same IV.
Complaints about the discomfort/pain in my right arm were attributed to the IV by the staff.
A day after my discharge, I was admitted to Vereeniging Medi-clinic where I was treated for thromboses which raised concerns at Ver Medi Clinic.
I lodged a complaint with MPH on 09/05/2016 informing them about the condition and additional costs and there has been no response from them till now.
I am currently on medication for a minimum of six months costing me in excess of R1000 p/m. This is not why I went to hospital in the first place.

The response/non – response of MPH will determine my next move.

Ms. H.H.H

Cell NO - ***

Email - ***
