poor business ethics

Negotiated to buy a car from this dealer. agreed on price, they email me OTP. They didn't request a holding deposit, but agreed to keep the car on hold for a few days(4 days, in which we conversed everyday) as i was flying in from Cape Town. I was happy with all details, pics and videos. I just wanted to test drive and see car before i pay. The day i'm suppose to leave they sell the car to another person.. They couldn't hold the other buyer for 24hrs. Shiraaz***ner/manager) calls me to give me the bad news, claims the other sales person didn't know about the hold on the car..... This is not a massive dealership. He then offers to compensate me for my travels and try and find me another car. few days later offers me R1k. I bought 2 tickets at R1300 + R1400 each besides all the other expenses i have incurred. Extremely ********* business practice. Please be careful in your dealings with them.
