Absolutely terrible workmanship on pool marbelite

Had my pool re-marbelite by Midstream Pools about 5/6 years ago. Within a week we saw imperfections in the marbelite which would attract dirt, which the Creepy could not clean. They came out a few times, but could not sort it out. Told us to sand it down ourselves. Left it at that, but now know I shouldn't have.

After 4 years the marbelite started coming off in one spot. Informed the reception lady, but no one ever came to look at it. At this point the marbelite was looking terrible all over, so we decided to redo the pool with epoxy. This unfortunately took us 2 years to get to, which was now. When we drained the pool to do this, we saw more patches where the marbelite was coming off. We also found various places where it seemed the marbelite was hollow. This was confirmed yesterday when the epoxy company came to prep the pool.

After about 20 minutes they downed tools and told me they can not epoxy my pool as the marbelite structure that they have to paint on was not good enough. The marbelite needs to come off, all of it, and the only thing they can suggest is to have the pool re-marbelite. The problem is that the thickness (which should be about 15-20mm) is all over the place. From 1mm to more than 50mm in places. Also, the pool surface was never treated with bonding liquid before the re-marbelite, which means the new marbelite had nothing to stick to. That is why it was jut popping off the old marbelite. They refunded me my deposit and left site.

I then phoned the owner of Midstream Pools and asked him to come and have a look at what his people did, because I am pretty sure this is the reason I had problems from the start. He refused, as he recons it will serve no purpose. He also dared me to put this on social media, so here goes. Feel free to contact me for additional photos. I can only upload one, but that does not tell the story. 082 **********
