I'll start where it all started.

At the time a matriculant student doing very well and highly motivated to into pursuing a career in programming. At a open day our school was approached by this institution for applications and explain how much they would help students from our disadvantaged background and dedicated members that will guide you through your whole journey also being a private university was very attractive that my high marks allowed me to be accepted under some kind of payback plan or alternative but reassured for the best outcome.

Not really educated around college applications and processes I was helped by a Rep that guided me through everything, after the year ended great news I'm accepted and was ready to pursue my goals through this institution. My first day came through and I was excited to start off but things start to take a bad turn as I wasn't entitled to many things including library access, workbooks and also the tablet device since my payments hasn't yet been settled, I discussed this with my sponsor (parents) who didn't understand much due to there lack of knowledge surrounding this as I was the first child in the whole family to attend higher education the Rep walked my parents through payment options and plans and the last plan was a loan for the course fees of around 70k where it would carry over to me as soon as I'm employed which I was all thumbs for.

The process was literally delayed and I also picked up these Reps are very commission driven for new applicants and those non refundable application fees! There was a complication with approval and there offices assured my parents the loan will be approved as they issue a letter to the bank that would allow approval but the letter sadly never arrived. I read over my contact feeling responsible since my parents don't really understand things like this I noticed if I stay a day longer and the funds are not approved I will be liable to pay the full 70k in 7 installments. I made the biggest and hardest decision of my life at that time that I need to withdraw because this is the biggest trap ever and my parents could never afford this amount of money even in installments even a church member put together my application fee, I withdrew from the institution as a result telling my parents I no longer want to study this because if I told them the truth they would let me stay and suffer for my education and this experience isn't fair at all. This institution is so focused on money it's like a business trying to get money from me! I then spoke to finance and the lady with a horrible attitude told me I have to pay 14k now, I spoke another and they then said ok 7k will do. I left this with my parents and they struggled with paying it my father withdrew from the conversation leaving my mother to take responsibility and she never really looked after the now consided debt, I later tried to get contacts from them to understand what is happening as my mom told me they handed it over to collectors, I went in and spoke to finance and the same female assisted me Debra if i recall, she started of kind and called the collections people and after a few laughs she looked at me and gave me attitude about missing payments making me feel uncomfortable as if I was being told off that I'm not going to get happened because I don't pay! I left that day empty handed as I have to speak to the collectors for anything I need! 2 years later harrased and was just threatened to pay or get blacklisted by there attorneys! Yes the debt was passed over to me by them without knowledge.

My name is kiyaam 21 years old and I would never ever recommend you apply at this institution i won't even apply at any other institution this is affect of my 4experience with this institution!

Worst experience I've overall ever encountered at the Claremont building Pearson institute of Higher education prev known as CTI
