Terrible service from Midea South Africa

I purchased a Midea dishwasher and experienced an issue during the warranty period where the dishwasher made a noise when running a wash cycle. Midea initially responded efficiently and sent a technician, who eventually replaced a part. However, since the part was replaced, the dishwasher has not been washing dishes properly—leaving them dirty after every cycle.

I informed Midea about this, but they did nothing to resolve the issue. Their response eventually was that my warranty had since expired. How does that make sense? The fault was reported and logged before the warranty expired, and a repair was carried out. Yet now, they have the audacity to claim the warranty claim is no longer valid.

This is absolutely terrible service from Midea. If you’re considering their products, save yourself the trouble and avoid Midea at all costs.
