Don’t buy any Midea brand

That one start is not even deserved - I had the worst experience ever and money down the drain for what nonsense all in the name to support other brands. I blunt a top loader washing machine on the 30 March 2024 and on the 13th July 2024 the machine stopped working. I logged a request thinking I can be assisted but what did I get my warranty’s is voided. Because the machine is only for indoor use only. The machine is in a secure space , no sun and no nothing but I’m being given such, no disturbance or whatsoever and this is how ylthis company is ripping people off. I have used my Hisense washing machine for over 5 years and I never had such issues. My R4400 down the drain and no form of remorse or help from Midea

Our Warranty is a manufacturer warranty that covers against manufacturing faults and defects.
 
Washing machines are not designed to operate outdoors for the following reasons.
1.         There is a very high risk of damage to the electronics and mechanics through outdoor atmospheric conditions and being exposed to the elements.
2.         There is a risk of damage caused through possible insect infestation.
3.         There is a high risk of damage through possible rodent infestation.
4.         The above points create a substantial safety hazard and possible risk of electric shock.
5.         Cosmetics, electronics, and mechanics are at high risk of rust and corrosion being outdoors. 
6.         The safety instructions found in the owner’s manual also clearly stipulates that “This appliance is for indoor use only”.
 
For the above reasons and to maintain warranties, washing machines, and all other indoor appliances for that matter, are required to always be used indoors protected from these outdoor elements, risks, and dangers.
 
Unfortunately, as this washing machine has been used outdoors the warranty is null and void.
The matter has been escalated to management; they will contact you.
