The dishwasher we purchased had rust developing on the baskets after 1 year. Overall the baskets where in good condition except for the joins the coating was insufficient causing rust in places. This is a manufacturing defect since the rust is happening on specific joins and not the entire basket.

I contacted Midea South Africa and for the past 6 months they have refused to physically inspect the baskets. Instead the only response is that the rust is not covered by the standard 2 year warranty.

But, this rust is caused by poorly app**** paint coating on the basket.

At time of purchase, we also signed up for the extended warranty.

The useless clowns working at MIdea we dealt with are the following individuals:
