Cheap and Nasty Midea Microwave. Don't buy

I have a basic Midea 750W Microwave (the black one), purchased in Sep 2024. After 4 months, the paint in the cavity started peeling and this was reported to Livance (The Midea agents in South Africa) by March 2025.

Submitted a service call to repair the unit (it has a 2 year warranty) with a response that I damaged the coating due to the manner in which I clean it, notwithstanding that I've owned and cleaned kitchen appliances, large and small for well over 40 years !

Subsequent emails went answered. So I have a cheap and defective microwave, no service from Livance/Midea and regret the R850 I spent on this.

Spend a few hundred extra and get a different brand. I won't purchased another Midea product and will ensure I discourage others from doing the same.
