Very bad service and poor management s****s

I purchased a Dixon car battery on Tuesday 16 August 2016. Upon arriving at home we found that it was the wrong battery. I called the MIDAS branch where i purchased the battery and spoke to the sales person who sold me the battery and he advised me to return it and they would exchange it. I had not even connected the cars battery cables to the battery as they could not reach the terminals. I returned it this afternoon 17 August 2016 and have the store Manager tell me the terminals are marked and the would not exchange it. His bad management s****s caused the situation to escalate to an arguement. I then took the battery to the manufacturer and was told by them that there battery terminals all look that way. The gentleman from Dixon batteries then exchanged the battery as he found nothing wrong with the one i purchased from MIDAS Bellville. I would like to warn other persons to avoid this MIDAS branch as you may get caught out the same way. And their store manager lacks management s****s.

Thanks to Justice from DIXON betteries for solving my problem and for the excellent service i received

Good morning,

We have looked into this matter and found that the Midas store in question has correctly supp**** the battery you specifically asked for. When returning it they found the poles to be scratched which is a clear indication of a battery being fitted, hence they will not exchange the battery.

If Dixon has chosen to exchange the battery, then that decision and any guarantees lie with them.

I trust that you will understand our standpoint and look forward to seeing you in store again.

Hi Nameless

Just to bring something else to your attention. The next morning after this BAD SERVICE experience I took the brand new battery which Dixon batteries gave me to the same BAD SERVICE manager and asked him as a means of testing the system, if he would exchange it. He looked at the battery terminals of the battery that Dixon exchange and which had also not been fitted to the vehicle and ne told me he would not exchange it as it had been fitted in a car. Now you explain that to me. Midas group should take better care of clients as without customers you have no business. I will contunue to tell friends, associates and people I meet of the BAD EXPERIENCE I received from this branch of MIDAS.
