I bought a battery at Midas Rivonia before they relocate to Woodmead retail park. The battery has a 24 months warranty, It died while I was away home in the Eastern Cape, I also took it out for testing. At that time the proof of purchase was not in my possession, as result I had not choice but to leave the car behind in the Eastern Cape hence I am based in Joburg because at that time I had no money to buy a new battery. As soon as I arrive in Joburg I went to Midas Woodmead with the proof of purchase to enquire about this. I requested them to make arrangement with the Midas in King Williams Town to give a new battery as an exchange, they lady "Michelle" that was assisting me told me that there was nothing she can do without the battery being in my possession even though I explained my situation to her. I went to EC again to beg King William's Town Midas for exchange unfortunately it did not go well. I was left with no choice but to buy a new battery costed me R2000. I took the old battery to Midas, a few weeks later they want to give me a new battery of which I declined their offer, because what am I gonna do with 2 new batteries. I requested for cash refund of R1865.00 i don want another battery now they are REFUSING TO REFUND ME.
