Refuses clients cash and turns them away

<p>Today I went to Midas in Gezina for spares for my car. When I got to the counter to pay the lady told us that we has a ols R200 note and that they had stopped taking the old notes. When I asked since when and how they can refuse legal tender we were told she only does as she is told. As far as I know no company is allowed to refuse legal tender?</p>
