Refund for diesel clutch

I bought a clutch with a vin no for Ford focus 2.0 (fuel) at Midas Quay in East London on 1-08-2015. The salesman assured me it's the right model, the mechanical engineer realized it doesn't fit. I took it back to Midas and they refused to refund me or give me another clutch. I was told they can only sell me another clutch at cost price of R1381. I ordered it on Tuesday (11-08-2015),and sent someone to fetch it Wednesday. I still received bad attitude from the Salesman, he refused to release it and demanded we bring a sample where as he didnt tell us Tuesday when we ordered the clutch. I work in Mthatha (250 kms away), I called them on the way to explain that I am 15 minutes late and they refused to release it. I got it on 13-08-2015 at R1381, and now am stuck with a brand new Diesel clutch which I didn't order.
