Non chelont attitude and failure to uphold warrant
We are a local business that always tries to support other local businesses to build the economy. Last year i purchased two 12v batteries from our local Midas, both with a 2 year warranty. Both have stopped working. Today i took them back to Midas, on arrival the gentleman called his manager Steven, Steven then told me he cant replace the batteries and walked away. I tried to speak to him but it seemed that packing the shelves was more important to him. Eventually i got his attention and he told me the batteries terminals have scratches on(any used battery has these markings from the clamps) and threw a booklet down in front of me. I have never felt more disrespected. At this point i realized i wasn't going to get any help from this man that doesn't care about customers, i then left. It dissapoints me to see/receive this kind of service from a local store that we support on a daily basis and i refer my clients to. Now 2 of my vehicles are standing, this has a big impact on our work. I just feel that the situation could have been handled in a professional manner. Now i have to spend additional money on something that's still under warranty, this just shows me the stores integrity.
