Never Again Midas!
I got a quote on a Exide battery from Ben at Midas Komatipoort on 2 May 2024. On 3 May 2024 I confirmed the quote with Ben and told him someone will pick up the battery later. I received the battery later and saw that it is not a Exide but a "First Battery" I phoned Ben and I told him that I did not get a Exide and he just said that it is the same thing. I told him that he quoted on a Exide and I want a Exide. He told me that he do not have one but will order and he will phone me later. This is a week later and no word from Ben. I also sent a message to Midas head office on 03/05/2024 via their website and a email on 07/05/2024 and I have not received any response. This is dishonest and poor service from Midas.

15 May 2024, 09:09Morning, a person from Midas phoned me on 10 May and we discussed the issue shortly and he then said he want to clarify something and would phone me back in 5 minutes.
Today is 15 May and I have not heard from him again. The poor service is ongoing.

Yes the battery was fitted in my car, I can not be without transport for 12 days. Now Midas won't take it back. If Midas Komatipoort responded on the first day this issue would have been resolved. Now I am stuck with a inferior battery and not a Exide.
