Midas Upington dont give a damn

Had an awfull experience yesterday the 20/09/19 at Midas in Upington. My husband was in hospital for almost 4 weeks as first his foot and then eventualy the leg was amputated. We decided to go to Upington for a day out as we havent been togheter for almost a month. Midday we went to Midas, he was using his walker as a wheelchair would take up to much space . I was walking just infront of him passing the huge selfopening door, just as my husband entered the door closed on him, causing him to lose his balance, he fell to the ground. Someone said to lock the door so it stayed open. The personel all stood looking , then a very nice lady came and help, 2 men also came to pick him up. His wound that was healing so nicely was bleeding. We asked for a chair so he could sit. Another lady mentioned that the drs was just around the corner. Since my husband was in pain, we decide to cut our visit of 2 days short and rather to drive back home 260km. He was in extreme pain. By arrival i already had a medical person attending to his need. The wound tore open and 2 weeks of treatment was al down the drain. Not even one person there cared to take our number and to follow up. My husband called the owner Mr Walker, and he asked what my husband wants him to do, since it was an accident. If this happend to an fragile old person with a cane, they would break someting but apparently Midas dont really care. They know the doors sensor does not pick up in front of door but dont do anything about this???? After years of supporting Midas Upington and being treated this way. Very dissapointed.
