Midas Kroonstad - Ridiculous service received from Salesman and Manager!!!

To whom it may concern

I am beyond angry and dissatisfied with the service received from Midas in Kroonstad!!! Yesterday I visited Midas in Kroonstad to buy a battery for my Renault Kwid, that specific morning I called to find out the price for a battery and mentioned that I will visit the store after work to purchase one, I arrived after 17h20 and the sales man that assisted me told me that “ there is only 5 minutes left before the store closes and there is no one who can take out the battery for me on the car” therefore he did not even bother to even check the kind of battery that was already on the vehicle whatsoever and then proceeded to say that he will credit me with a deposit of R250 once I bring the old battery back. I went back to Midas this morning 2022/12/13 to return the incorrect battery that was given to me yesterday, I was told that the system recommended that battery I was given which is the 616C, I explained to the salesman that the battery the battery he gave me does not fit and he proceeded to the manager by the name of Rudolf Nel, which was extremely rude and already when he came to me he had already concluded that He is not going to exchange or listen to my view on how everything transpired, and wanted me to buy another new battery, instead he was taking the side of Jurie the salesman, he told me that he is not going to exchange the battery as it was already booked out and that is what I asked for and that I did not even bother to come with the vehicle when purchasing the battery of which the vehicle was there when I did purchase the battery, it was just the pure laziness of the salesman not to even bother checking the current battery. Eventually after arguing, both the Saleman and Manager were extremely rude and ended up saying that they will exchange the battery to the one I want however it will not have any warranty at all and will be marked as such. I am disappointed in the kind of treatment I received and believe that if it was another person of a different skin colour I would have been treated differently by both the salesman and the manager for Midas Kroonstad!!!! Kindly address this kind of behaviour and treatment that you give to your clients as it is absolutely ridiculous!!! And no paying client should be experiencing such!!!

Would not recommend Midas Kroonstad or as a Brand to anyone!!!
