Midas discriminates against female customers & violates consumer rights

I was discriminated on grounds of gender, financially violated. I wend to Midas Vosloorus branch on the 20th of February 2024, I requested them to test the battery for me as the car wouldn't start. They **** to me that the battery was worn out caused me to spend more than R2000 on a new battery whilst the problem was not a battery.

When I got home does the same thing with the new battery as the old one. When a problem was fixed in the car it accepted the battery. I went to collect the old battery the following morning, when using it I found that it was working.

I believe I was discriminated on grounds of gender and also financially violated because they should have told me the truth about my battery. Now I'm stuck with two batteries and have wasted my kids money over their negligence.

Midas really violated me, unfortunately this is done during very difficult economic trying times.
