Horrible customer service

horrible service from Randburg MIDAS on Bram Fischer, i bought a 4 tone towing rope on the 17th 2 days later i used it and it snapped they refuse to exchange or refund me even though its within the warranty period. I spoke to Jason who had me going back and forth and yet could still not sort out my query. this is pathetic customer service.
