Horrible customer service

Went to Midas in Brakpan (Goods Road) to buy a car battery tried to fit it but the terminal clip won't fit on top of the battery , so I phoned the store and spoke to one of customer service staff and said that the battery doesn't fit I was told the battery 100% the same as the old one and they have an alternative , so I sad its fine I'll come and take a look I did mention that ill rather take a refund .When I arrived I showed the difference of the batteries and was presented with an alternative which I was not happy with, so I requested a refund, few minutes later the owner or manger of the shop tried to negotiate with me and gave some useless info about the brand names and that they were all the same. After that I got angry at the fact that I requested a refund 4 times the manager still tried to negotiate I again requested the refund and reiterated I want a refund and its not open for discussion . Then I saw the manager treat the family member that was with me like a fool with a smirk face and laughing saying "what is he saying" after a conversation the two had, I snapped at the manager and said that is no way to treat my family member like that, I was then told by the owner\manager I'm making a fool of myself I then left the store and said I'll never buy from that store again...now seeing all the reviews Midas has its a growing trend that customers are being treated poorly by management and staff that are not fit to deal with customers properly. The family member got the refund on my behalf at the end of this bad experience but won't be returning to that store again.
