False advertising in brochures!

On Friday, 27 March my husband purchased 5L Shell Helix HX-5 25W-60 oil from the Midas store in Linton Grange, Port Elizabeth. According to the latest brochure (page 12), the description indicates this particular oil, although the picture next to the description, is for 15W-40 oil. Price indicated as R199.00. We paid R254.95 for the oil and when I checked the slip on Saturday afternoon, I saw the price difference. This store being closed on Sunday, I contacted them on Monday to query the price and was told that it is a printing error in the brochure and they can not refund me the difference of +- R55.00. <br> <br> To me, as a customer, this is totally unacceptable and false advertising! The customer can not be held liable for printing errors and we were not informed of such printing error when purchasing the product. <br> <br> This is bad customer service and I'm utterly disappointed with the explanation given to us. My husband spends a lot of money at Midas as he services vehicles etc. and in future we will rather consider purchasing parts from other companies that are prepared to go the extra mile not to lose customers.
