My wife bought a new battery from them after telling them what battery type they should fit the car, as we have an amp in the car and also have the car for 10 years now. They fitted a battery which is under the standard of the car. Now we have to recharge this battery every week, and is a real pain in the bud. So I decided to go to Midas to try to resolve the issue, as you simply dont have a charger lying around everytime to charge the car, and is an inconvenience with a baby of 2years old. She looked at a book and told me that the battery they fitted is the right one. And my wife asked them in the beginning to put a larger capacity battery in as we have an amp, so standard by the book will not work here. I feel this woman is incompetant and did not help my wife at the time, and now they do not want to replace this battery. Spoke to the manager, and he was happy to lend us a test battery while they can have a test on the current one, which is still too small for the car. I will need to get a bigger battery or keep charging it every week. Dont buy a battery at Midas, they just want your money and leave you stranded with a kid in emergancy. Will have to fork out another R1000 for new
