bad service

I bought a battery at Midas in Benoni Northmead on the 23rd of August 2019. My battery stopped working and then i went to Midas to have it replaced because 25 months haven't lapsed.

The sales man initial told me that the warrant have expired. I told him that 25 months haven't lapsed and he then asked for one of his colleagues to test the battery and its reported "bad cell" replace battery. When we went back he then asked the guy to remove the battery from the car. The battery was removed from the car and they put another battery and the car started. They tested the alternator and it showed that there are no issues with it.

After that they started saying the battery looks a bit swollen on the side which means i have abused the battery. I asked how do i abuse the battery when the battery has always been in the car since i bought it. The manager was dismissive and said maybe i have removed the battery and charged it. They told me about a condition that is not written anywhere that they don't replace the battery if it is swollen. There is also no notice stating that in the shop the guy claimed they removed it because they were renovating, which was clearly a lie.

The moment i walked into the shop the guys have been trying to look for every reasons not to replace the battery.
