Bad Attitute and Terrible Customer Care

I bought brake pads and a service kit from Midas. i then took them to my mechanic and he informed me that the type of brake pads i had bought were the wrong type and that type would ruin my disc if i put them in. i then went to buy them else where in faith that i would be able to go to Midas and return those brake pads once i explained the situation. when i got to Midas i was informed by a CHEEKY store manager that they do not refund, she would give me a voucher. i explained that i do not require a voucher from Midas and i would like a cash refund as this was the policy that was on their wall - they will provide cash vouchers if goods are incorrect as long as i have not used them. i explained that i had already bought new brake pads but she demanded to see the receipt of the new brake pads i had bought from else where. this has been the worst shopping experience at a Midas and i will never return to Midas again.
