Appalling and disgusting service

on Friday 29/11/2019 ,i went to Midas Old Pretoria Main Midrand to get a car battery as my car battery was giving me issues and my car was performing well irrespective of the battery issue .,I was assisted by an older guy that i didn't get his name,and i requested that i get some to assist me because i don't know much about cars. a younger man was asked to assist me however he didn't know what he was doing because there were sparks on the terminals ,i asked him if he knew what he was doing ?he didn't respond .i went inside and asked for some to assist,while coming out from the shop i saw smoke from the engine and i ran towards the car asking whats happening ,wipes were flipping sideways and water gushing to the windscreen ,my son jumped to take out the terminals and the the older guy that assisted with the battery inside the shop came out and said he knows what is the problem,then he called a guy that apparently his job is to assist clients with batteries ,he fitted the battery with no hassles and i drove off,however there battery sign on dashboard was showing ,later in the day as i was driving towards my gate at home the car was off,i just parked and in the morning the car wouldn't start,called in a technician that asked if the battery was fitted incorrectly because the alternator has burnt ,called in the manager on Saturday 30/11/2019 and he requested that i drive the car to him which i told him that i will to tow the car because its not drive-able. On Monday the 2/12/2019 I went to the shop and the manager was nasty and not helpful. i had to incur unnecessary cost because of their incompetence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
